Refrigeration Engineer\n\n📍 North Yorkshire / Leeds Region\n💰 £51,027 + Overtime + Bonus + Benefits\n\n🕒 Hours: Typically 8am – 5pm with flexibility required\n📅 Start Date: ASAP\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering supermarket refrigeration systems across Leeds and North Yorkshire.\n\nThe role involves planned and reactive maintenance on supermarket chiller units, display refrigeration, and warehouse cold storage equipment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance\n\n * Service supermarket chillers, display units, and warehouse refrigeration systems\n\n * Diagnose faults and recommend replacements where required\n\n * Complete technical and compliance paperwork accurately\n\n * Ensure works are completed within agreed response times\n\n * Participate in 1 in 4 call-out rota\n\n * Maintain high health & safety and customer service standards\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven commercial/supermarket refrigeration experience\n\n * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills\n\n * Experience with planned and reactive maintenance\n\n * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence\n\nPackage\n\n * £51,027 basic salary\n\n * Overtime: 1.5x Mon–Sat / 2x Sunday\n\n * £500 quarterly bonus during first year\n\n * 33 days holiday including bank holidays\n\n * 5% employer pension contribution\n\n * Private healthcare & life insurance\n\n * Long-term career progression opportunities
